Ordered Express Shipping, didn't ship, then lied to me that they shipped itI mean, I'm all about supporting women owned small businesses, but I was actually kind of upset once I realized these people straight up lied to me. I wanted to order one of their sets for my upcoming bachelorette brunch, but wanted to check with them first on shipping time prior to purchasing so I could know if I would receive it in time or not, so I sent them an email through their website to inquire. I sent this on a Sunday and never got a response from them. My brunch was that upcoming Saturday. I ended up messaging them on Instagram Monday and finally had gotten a response there. They said they only ship orders Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's, so I asked on Monday if I ordered if it would be shipping Wednesday and if so, if they expected it to arrive by Friday if I did express 1-2 day shipping (a $25 cost). I'm only a state over from where they ship from, which is technically 4 or so hours away, so they said oh if you're located there, then yes it should come by Friday. So I placed the order and I got a notification Wednesday that the order had shipped. I kept a close eye on the tracking because of the time crunch and it never transitioned out of " Pre-Shipment info sent to USPS, USPS awaiting item". To this day it still has the same status and it has been a week. I messaged them on Friday letting them know there were no tracking updates and they told me that the order was shipped out Monday, which wasn't possible, and that maybe USPS lost the package and they weren't sure why it hadn't moved through the system. They ended up saying they felt so bad that they issued a refund and that if it shows up I get a free outfit. I said it was fine and moved on with looking for a new outfit to wear last minute. After that is when I realized they straight up lied about it because 1. it wasn't shipped on Monday because I didn't order it in time for it to be shipped Monday, 2. They issued the refund IMMEDIATELY and I think that's due to the fact that they only created a label for it and never actually took the package to the post office and shipped it. They tried to play cool by saying oh if it shows up you get a free outfit! No, I won't because you never shipped it so stop playing like you're doing me some sort of favor. I get that I got my refund and why am I bothered still, but don't straight up lie to me about details and shipping. That's what irked me to my core. Like own up to the fact you forgot to send it out, don't lie to me about it to make yourself look good.
